Mr. Nihar N Jambusaria is an eminent Chartered Accountant and is the Past President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in the year 2021-22. A Fellow Chartered Accountant from Mumbai, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984 He has been a practicing CA having with an experience of 38 years including 10 year service experience in Reliance industries Ltd. as Senior Vice President.

As a President of The ICAI, he represented ICAI on the IIRC’s Council and the Board of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). He is a member of the Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Advisory Group of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

He has also served as Chairman of all Standing Committees including Executive, Finance and Examination Committees, besides being the ex-officio member of all Non-Standing Committees and Editor of ICAI Journal, The Chartered Accountant.

CA Nihar Jambusaria was Director of ICAI Registered Valuers Organisation (RVO) and also the representative from ICAI RVO on the “Committee to advise on Valuation matters”. He is also Chairman of the ICAI Research wing, ICAI – Accounting Research Foundation and Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) India.

CA Nihar Jambusaria was a member of committees constituted by the government and regulators relating to policy formation that includes Government Accounting Standards Advisory Board (GASAB) and Audit Advisory Board- both constituted by the C&AG of India. He is also Board Member, Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority (IRDA), Insurance Advisory Committee and Apex Committee of IRDA, and Member of SEBI’s Primary Market Advisory Committee.
He has served as the Chairman of Ind AS Implementation Committee, International Tax Committee and various other important Committees/ Board of ICAI. He has also served as Member of SAFA Committee on Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB). He has also served as Chairman of WIRC of ICAI in 2004-05.

CA Nihar Jambusaria has been a speaker at national and international forums, addressing more than 900 seminars, conferences so far covering various subjects of professional interest like Direct Tax, Accounting Standards, International Tax and Professional Development.

Mr. Rajnikant Patel has more than 35 years of experience in Financial Services sector encompassing Commercial Banking, Central Banking, Capital Markets, Commodity Markets and Corporate Strategy.

He was Managing Director & CEO of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) & Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX). As MD & CEO of BSE, he has corporatized and demutualized BSE under Government of India guidelines leading to valuation of around Billion $.  During his tenure BSE became 2^nd exchange in the word to achieve ISO certification. BSE won Gold Medals for best Annual Reports in Financial Sector consequently for 2 years from Institute of Chartered Accountants India (ICAI). He has worked with ICAI to introduce XBRL reporting standards in Indian Financial sector. He has been directors on many companies.

He has previously worked with Reserve Bank of India, State Bank & BNP Paribas.

He is Fellow of Institute of Directors (IOD) and a faculty for Masterclass for Independent Directors. He is also a Director of Advisory Board for Mentor My Board.

He has in depth understanding of the complex inter-connects amongst the various components of the finance sector. He has lead organisations thru challenging business & regulatory situations to emerge strong with focus on sustainability, growth & regulatory compliance.

He continues to guide to visualise, plan, execute, monitor & improve projects with operational efficiency, innovation & thought leadership. A professional in finance, he is post graduate qualifications in Commerce, Law & Banking. He is certified Internal Auditor, ISO and Certified Financial Consultant. He has certification in Design Thinking from MIT Boston, Economic Development form University of Oxford, CSR from University of Pennsylvania and others.

He has been recipient of various awards like Indira Super Achievers Award, HR Excellence Award, Employer Branding Award, IT People Award for Innovation, India’s Greatest HR Professional, SuperBrand Guardian etc.

He has been member of various committees of SEBI, FMC, WDRA, CII, ASSOCHAM, FICCI, PHD, IMC, BMA etc. He was Chairman of South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE) and Member of Working Committee of World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), Paris. He has been closely associated with Institute of Company Secretaries if India (ICSI) for Corporate Governance.

He has been key note speaker at national & international forums like Indian Economic Summit, World Economic Forum, SIBOS, IOSCO, World Federation of Exchanges. He has represented India at various international conferences as speaker.

He regularly appears with business TV channels like CNBC, ZEE Business, Bloomberg, NDTV and others.
